The logo had to subtly indicate Arteusia’s activity field, China. I found my inspiration in the idea of the seal, which was, until modern China, the only form of signature recognised as a distinctive mark of its owner. This idea seemed relevant to me because in this case, the value of Arteusia is based on the expertise of its owner.
The red colour suggests the paste that is used to stamp seals in China. This colour was chosen because it is perceived as extremely positive in China.
